Clarisse d’Arcimoles ( http://clarisse-darcimoles.com/ ) is a great photographer and set designer in London.
I recommend to check her latest project “Un-possible retour”.
Clarisse says:
« Attracted by a photograph’s ability to cross time, I looked at my family albums and re-examined familiar scenes. Never static or permanent, memories change as we grow. In this project time becomes a creative, yet controlled, space of evolution.
During these small acts of repair we realise that what is being reconstructed is no longer reachable. In the comparison I unavoidably failed, I had to fail. There is no return in time. »

I have been particularly impressed by this picture of the only man on Earth allowed to call me “le grand laid” instead of “le petit beau”
