Terms and Conditions for the Free Custom Comic Strip for your Blog

Send the coupon above (attach the picture on your email) to [email protected] with:

1- The link of the page you want me to illustrate on your blog.

2- Describe the main character you would like for your strip (and possibly used on your other posts). Is it an animal? A super hero? A celebrity? A robot? etc.
Note: If you don’t have any idea for your main character feel free to reuse my Bit’n’bit , The One, Mr Bouh or The Supers.

You can add any other kind of useful information that might help me to draw your strip. But it doesn’t mean I will necessarily follow them :-)

Your comic strip is going to be the equivalent of an A4 page (21 x 29.7 cm or 8.27 x 11.7 inches).
However what you’re going to receive is not a printed copy, it’s a digital version ready to go on your blog.

As I am currently working on a comic viewer player you will receive two versions of your comic:

The first one will be just the pictures as 24 bits png. The maximum size of each panel will be 640×480 pixels. You will have to integrate those panels into your blog yourself.

You will receive a second version, probably beginning of next year.
It will be a javascript link (à la YouTube) to embed the comics into your blog. This version should allow a full screen version (HD, 1280×720 or 1360×768). This version will probably not be hosted on your server although it will be possible for you to do so.

Your comic will be released as creative common licence. The one that give the right to anybody to make whatever they want with it (especially earning money) as long as they mention somehow a reference of the original author ; by keeping my signature (Thyb) and/or a link to http://bou.me (note: you don’t have to put a link back to my site, it’s nice if you do, but ou don’t have to).

If you want an exclusive licence of this work then you will have to contact me before I release it. Once released, there is no going back.

You can publish or not publish your comic on your blog. It’s your choice.

However by participating to this promotional operation you agree to have one case study page published on http://bou.me including materials from your blog (screenshot, links, etc.) and your participation email (without private details).

This offer is valid up for only 50 participants.

This promotion is open to anybody as long as they have a public blog. A private facebook page, a private myspace page are not valid pages.
To be valid, your public blog should have been updated during November 2009.

Where is the small print?

Answer: There is no small print! But if you have a question, feel free to leave a comment :-)
